36-year-old center Joakim Noah is retiring from the NBA after 13 career seasons according to the Athletic.
Noah spent his final year with the Clippers in 2019-20, but will retire as a member of the Chicago Bulls where he spent his first nine seasons.
He’s a former two-time All-Star and was awarded the Defensive Player of the Year in the 2013-14 season.
Although his career average numbers of 8.8 points and 9.0 rebounds don’t show it, Noah was an defensive anchor throughout his career.
Noah’s earned $136,497,844 in NBA contracts with the Bulls, Knicks, Grizzlies, and Clippers.
