New York Knicks starting center Mitchell Robinson will be out the next four to six weeks after undergoing surgery for a broken hand.

Robinson suffered the injury during Friday’s game against the Washington Wizards.

The 22-year,old had 10 points and 14 rebounds in the first half before suffering the injury,

The Knicks will will likely use Nerlens Noel for a bigger role and Taj Gibson will see an uptick in minutes.

Rookie Obi Toppin could also see increased usage if the Knicks decide to play small ball.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau discussed his lineup options with SNY:

“We’ll have some flexibility. We can play smaller. I like what Taj gives us. Obviously, the great value and the things that Mitch brought to the team was the defensive component and I feel that Nerlens does many of those things extremely well.”
