The Boston Red Sox have officially acquired infielder Enrique Hernandez with a two-year, $14 million contract.
The deal was reported last week and comes shortly after Dustin Pedroia announced his retirement.
Hernandez will likely be moved throughout positions this season with his versatility all over the field.
The 29-year-old hit .230/.270/.410 with five home runs and 20 RBI in 148 plate appearances last season with the Dodgers.
Hernandez could make out to be a decent pick in standard fantasy purposes, especially with the ability to play him in multiple slots.
