Los Angeles Lakers power forward Anthony Davis is out for Thursday’s matchup with the Pistons for a “quad contusion.”

The Lakers are likely resting Davis as they’re taking on a weak Detroit team.

It’ll be his third missed game of the season in 2021.

The 27-year-old is averaging 21.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game.

Montrezl Harrell and Kyle Kuzma should see extended minutes with Davis sidelined.
