Nets granted $5.7M for a disabled player exception

The Brooklyn Nets have been granted a $5.7 million disabled player exception for the loss of Spencer Dinwiddie.

Dinwiddie tore his ACL in December, which will force him to miss the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

According to Real GM, Brooklyn has until April 19 to use the exception.

Dinwiddie is on a 3-year, $34,362,144 contract with the Nets that includes a player option after this season.
