According to Jeff Passan of ESPN, the Minnesota Twins signed pitcher J.A. Happ to a one-year contract.
The deal is pending a physical, and the financial numbers haven’t been reported yet.
Happ threw for a 3.47 ERA in 2020 for the Yankees with a 1.05 WHIP and 42/15 strikeout to walk ratio.
Minnesota needed another starting pitcher in their rotation, so hopefully the 38-year-old can fill the void on a short-term contract.
