MLK Day Primetime viewers up 31%

The Martin Luther King NBA primetime doubleheader on TNT viewership was up by 31% compared to last year.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets played the first matchup with a star studded lineup featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jrue Holiday, Khris Middleton, Kevin Durant, and newly acquired James Harden.

Brooklyn defeated Milwaukee 125 – 123.

Following was a another close game as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 115 – 103, where 2.2 million viewers were watching.

That casted even more star power with Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.

TNT’s regular season game coverage is averaging 1.7 million viewers so far this season, up 21% vs. the same number of games last season.
