Bradley Beal out Saturday for health and safety

USA Today Sports

Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal will miss Saturday’s contest for coronavirus health and safety protocols.

Beal is being held out for contact tracing measures as he was a close contact to Jayson Tatum, who recently tested positive for COVID-19.

Russell Westbrook will also be out, so Washington will be short handed at guard against the Heat.

Ish Smith and Troy Brown may each draw the start with the two All-Star guards sidelined.

Rui Hachimura should also see a bump in usage.

Beal is averaging a league leading 35.0 points per game with 5.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
