Multiple Philadelphia 76ers players are expected to miss time after Seth Curry tested positive for the coronavirus on Thursday.
The team went through full contact tracing protocols on Friday morning, and they are waiting for the results.
Joel Embiid was sitting next to Curry in the first quarter of Thursday’s game against Brooklyn before the team found out that Curry was positive, and they removed him from the bench for self isolation.
Embiid stated that he plans to self-quarantine from his family until he knows he didn’t contact the virus.
The Sixers are off to a hot start to the 2020-21 season with a 7-2 record, but they may dip some depending on who misses time besides Curry, and how long they will be self isolated.
