Boston Celtics All-Star point guard Kemba Walker has been cleared to practice with the team.
Walker has been out since the end of the 2020 NBA restart when he received a stem cell injection in his left knee.
After receiving the injection, he was placed on a 12-week strengthening program prior to the season.
This is a huge step in the process of Walker returning to the court, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be back so soon.
Boston is taking heavy precaution instead of rushing him back with such a knee injury that’s been ailing him since last season.
Kemba missed 10 games between January and March of last year with the same issue.
