Chargers expected to fire Anthony Lynn

USA Today Sports

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Los Angeles Chargers are expected to fire head coach Anthony Lynn at the end of week 17.

The Chargers are currently 6-9 heading into the final week of their regular season, but they had high expectations at the beginning of the year.

Sounds like another Hard Knocks curse.

Lynn is 32-21 since being hired as the Chargers head coach, and he’ll unfortunately have just one season with budding quarterback and possibly Offensive Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert.

Whoever intends to take this job will have a core for at least the next few seasons of Herbert, Austin Ekeler, and Keenan Allen who are all under contract.
