Houston Texans 5x All-Pro defensive lineman J.J. Watt is uncertain whether or not his career with the team is over.
Watt has expressed his frustration with the organization in recent days, and he has every right to be upset.
Watt spoke with the media on Thursday:
“There’s a whole lot of unknowns, so we’ll see what happens. I don’t have any guarantees left in my contract, so something’s gotta happen one way or another.”
The Texans are a horrible 4-11 heading into the final week of the season, and they’ll miss the playoffs after they made it the last two seasons.
If Watt and the Texans part ways, it’ll clear $17.5 million in cap space.
