Kevin Durant is getting the night off Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies on the second night of a back-to-back set.

Durant spoke on Sunday night about taking games off:

“I definitely want to be able to play back-to-backs, get through [them] healthy and play my normal minutes, so we’ll see. We will see how things go and we’ll talk about it tomorrow.”

The Nets aren’t wrong by resting Durant as its become normal in the league ever since invented by the Gregg Popovich and San Antonio Spurs.

KD is averaging 26.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists across 31:34 minutes per game so far this season.

His next chance to return is Wednesday against the Atlanta Hawks.
