Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden says he’s “optimistic†about Derek Carr starting on Saturday night.
However, he didn’t guarantee it stating that he’s “not going to let the cat out of the bag.
“Wanna make sure he’s ok†Gruden said. “Both quarterbacks have prepared to play.”
Backup QB Marcus Mariota played well with Carr sidelined last week, throwing for 226 yards and a touchdown along with rushing for 88 yards and another TD.
Both quarterbacks seem to be ready to play, but it’s unclear who Vegas rolls the dice with against Miami.
UPDATE 5:35 PM ET:
Derek Carr has been left off of the Raiders final injury report, likely making him the starter for Saturday night.
