Kyle Kuzma has signed a three-year, $40 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The deal includes a player option for the 2023-24 season, which is the final year of the contract.

Kuzma had an up and down season last year averaging 12.8 points on 43.6% shooting and 4.5 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game.

The 25-year-old could likely be the sixth man off the bench in the early part of the season, but if he continues to be inconsistent he could lose time to recently signed PF Montrezl Harrel.
