Chicago Bears running back David Montgomery has been ruled out with a concussion this week against Minnesota.

It’s a blow for the Bears, especially after losing three straight games to be without their lead back.

Relying on the passing game is very shaky at this point with such poor quarterback performances all year from Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky.

Matt Nagy gave implementation that Lamar Miller would be called up from the practice squad and may see a share of the carries.

Cordalle Patterson and Ryan Nall should also see handle backfield duties in Montgomery’s absence.
