Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is out 6-8 weeks with a non-displaced ankle fracture.
Jackson suffered the injury on a punt return on Thursday night against the Giants.
The 34-year-old will not require surgery and the team expects him back this year.
Looks like GM Howie Roseman may have made a mistake signing Jackson to a 3-year, $27.9 million contract with $15 million guaranteed and a $7.17 million signing bonus.
Since signing back with Philadelphia last season, Jackson made appearances in just seven games total with minor ab strains, groin, and hamstring injuries.
