Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz has been placed on injured reserve and is now expected to miss the next 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain.
It was initially reported that Ertz would miss 3-4 weeks, but NFL Network gave him a return date around Thanksgiving.
With Eagles’ backup TE Dallas Goedert still sidelined, Richard Rogers will fill in as the team’s primary tight end.
