Ten Las Vegas Raiders players including Derek Carr and Darren Waller have been fined for attending a charity event.

The players directly violated league COVID-19 protocols.

Waller was fined $30,000, while each of the remaining players were fined $15,000 each.

Along with Walker and Carr, Nathan Peterman, Jason Witten, Foster Moreau, Derek Carrier, Zay Jones, Hunter Renfrow, Nevin Lawson, and Erik Magnuson were all in attendance.

Jon Gruden stated in an interview:

“I know our players are going to handle them individually. I know they regret any harm they may have caused. They’re very sensitive about it and we’ll handle it the right way. I’m going to reiterate, I’m really proud of our players and our staff and the job that we’ve done battling this virus, and it’ll continue.”

The event was for Darren Walker’s foundation raising drug and alcohol awareness at DragonRidge Country Club.

The city of Henderson fined the club $2,000 for four violations of the Nevada governor’s COVID-19 emergency directives.
