31-year-old linebacker NaVorro Bowman has retired from the National Football League after nine seasons.

Bowman will retire a 49er, where he spent his glory days.

Although Bowman was great in his healthy years, he didn’t play long enough to earn Hall-of-Fame consideration.

Bowman was a 3x Pro Bowler and a 4x First team All-Pro member.

The great from Penn State finished his career with 798 total tackles (585 solo), 14 sacks, 9 forced fumbles, and 6 fumble recoveries.

Bowman earned $44,005,662 in NFL contracts throughout his career.
