The Oakland A’s have signed Khris Davis to a two-year contract extension.
The deal will cover 2020 and 2021 and carry a $33.5 million total guarantee.
Davis is making a salary of $16.5 million this year, which is his final year of salary arbitration.
The 31-year-old has been a beast at the plate for Oakland since coming over from the Brewers in 2016.
He’s hit 143 home runs and 355 RBI through 474 games in an A’s uniform.
Davis is currently sporting a .967 OPS with 10 home runs and 20 RBI in 20 games this season.
