The New York Giants have signed wide receiver Sterling Shepard to a 4-year, $41 million contract extension.

Shepard would have been in the final year of his rookie deal.

The deal also includes $21.3 million guaranteed.

His $10.25 million annual average value places him in the top-20 among receivers.

Shepard had career highs in catches (66) and receiving yards (872) last season.
