The deal will be 1-year and $3 million guaranteed.

The deal is a nice bargain for Arizona, and Jones brings outfield help along with a steady bat.

From a fantasy perspective, it helps Jones’ outlook if he winds up in the lineup daily, while Ketel Marte’s stock takes a hit if shifted into a utility role.
