The Philadelphia Phillies and Bryce Harper have agreed to a 13-year, $330 million contract with no opt-outs.

The deal is a new North American sports record for overall dollars committed to one player.

Harper will also receive a full no-trade clause, zero deferred money, and an annual average value of $25.4 million.

There was a last-minute push by the Giants and Dodgers, but reports have stated that the Phillies were the highest bidder.

Harper should do damage at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park for fantasy owners.

The 26-year-old previously earned $52,350,000 in eight career seasons with the Nationals.
