Quarterback Johnny Manziel has been cut by the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes.
“I look forward to exploring new options within the United States,” Manziel stated.
The NFL has no interest in Manziel, but the AAF is a strong possibility.
The San Antonio Commanders would have a shot at Manziel if he were to take a shot, according to Rotoworld.
The Commanders have been switching between QB’s without any success. Manziel would be a popular draw for fans, if nothing else.
In his three seasons spent in the NFL from 2014-2016, Maziel earned $7,707,913 in contracts with the Cleveland Browns.
