The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired C J.T. Realmuto from the Miami Marlins for RHP Sixto Sanchez, C Jorge Alfaro, LHP Will Stewart, and international bonus pool money.
The 27-year-old slashed .277/.340/.484 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI over 125 games last season with Miami.
Realmuto is currently under control through 2020, though it sounds like Philly might engage in extension talks with his reps this spring.
