Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney II said the team has opened contract negotiations with Ben Roethlisberger.
Big Ben is entering the final year of his deal, and the Steelers are looking to tack on at least a couple years to his current contract.
Negotiations could be interesting given his age (37 in March) and proclivity for “considering” retirement during the offseason.
Roethlisberger threw for 5,129 yards in 2018, the 7th most all time, and Rooney thinks the QB has at least a few good years left.
