The Boston Red Sox have defeated the Houston Astros 4-1 to make it to the 2018 MLB World Series.

After losing the first game of the series, Boston won four straight to become American League Champions.

The Red Sox will go on to face the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Los Angeles Dodgers series, which is currently 3-2 in favor of LA.

Boston had the highest-paid team payroll in all of baseball this season at $228,398,860.
