Point guard Isaiah Thomas has signed a 1-year veteran’s minimum contract with the Denver Nuggets, worth around $2.2 million.
Thomas will join a young and talented backcourt featuring Jamal Murray and Gary Harris, which may force Thomas to initially come off the bench.
Thomas played just 32 games last season with the Cavaliers and Lakers due to a hip injury suffered with the Celtics at the conclusion of the 2016-17 season.
Thomas has earned a total of $30,175,846 in seven seasons with the Kings, Suns, Celtics, Cavs, and Lakers. He is a career .361% 3-point shooter and averages 18.9 points per game.
