Superman has left the building yet again. The 32-year-old big man has been traded to the Nets.
Dwight Howard has been traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Timofey Mosgov and two second-round draft picks. The move by Charlotte cleared over $17 million in cap space for the 2019 season.
Howard will be joining his 6th NBA team in an unusual trade that no one saw coming. The big man averaged a double-double last season with 16.6 points and 12.5 rebounds along with 1.6 blocks per game.
The 8x All-Star is currently on a 3-year, $70 million deal that came with $70.5 million guaranteed. Throughout Howard’s 14-year career, he’s earned a total of $210,235,761 off contracts from the Magic, Lakers, Rockets, Hawks, and Hornets.
