The Titans have reworked Derrick Henry’s contract, moving $2 million of his $12.5 million salary from 2023 to the upcoming 2022 season.Â
Henry is now scheduled to earn a salary of $14 million this year.
The following 2023 season is the final year of his current deal before he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2024.
Returning from a broken foot that kept him out of half of last season, Henry could continue to dominate in the Titans backfield for the future.
The 28-year-old ran for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns in just eight games in 2021, leaving his positive fantasy ability out of the question.
