Manchester City star forward Raheem Sterling has reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea.
Sterling has one year left on his current contract with Manchester City, and he’s attracted interest from multiple major clubs overseas.
The 27-year-old was originally signed from Liverpool in 2015 on a £49m deal, and now it’s looking like he’s moving on to another new club.
Sterling’s scored 131 goals in 339 games as a member of Man City, and he’s been a huge part of the team’s four Premier League Championships since 2018.
According to BBC Sport, Sterling “views this as the most important contract of his career and wants to play a pivotal role at a club challenging for all the major honors.”
They also noted that the Jamaican native still has team and professional targets he wants to fulfil, including winning the Ballon D’Or.
Financial details of the terms will be provided soon.
