Point guard Kendrick Nunn is picking up his $5.25M player option to return to the Los Angeles Lakers for the 2022-23 season.
Nunn unfortunately missed the entire 2022 season with a knee injury, which was his first year with the Lakers.
The 26-year-old signed a two-year, $10,250,000 August in 2021 before playing just four preseason games with LA.
When healthy, Nunn can provide the slow, struggling Lakers offense with his abilities to space the floor.
in 123 regular season games, Nunn’s averaged 15 points, 2.9 rebounds, and three assists, all with the Miami Heat.
