The Philadelphia Phillies placed starting pitcher Zack Wheeler on the COVID-19 list on Sunday.
Wheeler will join fellow pitcher Zach Eflin on the list, and it’s unclear how long both will be out.
Wheeler’s next scheduled start was declared for Tuesday, but it’s unlikely that he’ll make that appearance.
The 31-year-old is posting a 1-3 record so far in 2022 with a 4.10 ERA across five games played.
