ESPN has reported that Titans Pro-Bowl wide receiver A.J. Brown is planning to skip Tennessee’s offseason program as he seeks a long-term contract.
Brown is entering his final year of his rookie contract, and it’s no surprise he and his camp are looking for an extension after such stellar play.
The 24-year-old’s totaled 185 receptions for 2,995 receiving yards in his first three seasons for 24 touchdowns and 16.2 yards per catch.
Titans GM Jon Robinson has repeatedly stated that the team’s goal is to sign Brown to an extension this offseason, but a deal has yet to be made.
Brown will get a big payday, whether he remains in Tennessee of finds another ball club willing to pay him.
