The Sacramento Kings informed Alvin Gentry that he’s no longer the interim head coach of the team.
Gentry took over for former head coach Luke Walton after he was also let go early in the season.
The Kings, as normal, have been eliminated from playoff contention and finished the season with a 30-52 record.
Much of the blame this year isn’t on Gentry’s shoulders, as the organization has been failing as a unit for quite some time.
Sacramento will be a doomed franchise for the near future if they don’t make any moves in the front office.
