NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport expects the Cleveland Browns to trade quarterback Baker Mayfield before the draft.
Mayfield is owed $18,858,000 for the upcoming season, and the Browns are expected to cover a part of that salary.
Cleveland is asking for a second-round draft pick for the 26-year-old QB, and it seems like the Seahawks are the favorite to land him after dealing away Russell Wilson.
Reported by Yahoo Sports, the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in the mix for Mayfield as well.
In his banged up fourth career season, Mayfield posted a 6-8 QB record throwing for 3,010 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.
