The Arizona Cardinals re-signed 26-year-old running back James Conner to a three-year, $21 million contract extension.
The new deal is worth up to $25.5 million and comes with $13.5 million fully guaranteed.
Conner ran for 752 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2021 for Arizona, and he also caught 37 receptions for an additional 375 yards and three TDs.
The former Steelers back shared carries with Chase Edmonds last season, but he’s signed a deal with the Dolphins which clears the way for Conner to be a workhorse.
