Atlanta Hawks forward DeAndre Hunter will not require further knee procedures for his torn meniscus.
Hunter avoided a PRP injection that would have added 7-10 days to his expected return date.
The 23-year-old has been out since suffering the injury on January 29 against the Wizards.
Hunter has been working out in the weight room and on the court, which is a good sign he’s coming along with his treatment.
According to NBC, he’ll be re-evaluated on March 19.
Hopefully he can make his return by the end of March, especially with the Hawks’ multiple injuries.
