The Buffalo Bills signed safety Micah Hyde to a two-year, $19.25 million contract extension.
Hyde would have become a free agent after the upcoming 2021 season, but the Bills decided to extend the right-year veteran.
Hyde was rated the number 11 overall safety in Pro Football Focus’ grades last season out of 148 qualifiers.
The 30-year-old totaled 70 tackles in 2020 with one interception and five passes defended.
Buffalo will have very solid secondary for the near future with Hyde, safety Jordan Poyer, and cornerback Tre’Davious White.
The Bills are looking like Super Bowl contenders if they can get their running game going to help out QB Josh Allen
