According to ESPN, the Pittsburgh Steelers are unlikely to re-sign running back James Conner this offseason.
They also reported that the team wants to fill their starting running back position with an early-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Conner will turn 26-years-old in May, and he’ll see multiple offers from teams this offseason.
2020 was the final year of his four-year, $3,161,523 rookie contract signed with Pittsburgh in 2017.
Since being a starter in 2018, Conner has totaled 3,121 yards from scrimmage (2,158 rushing & 963 receiving) and 26 touchdowns.
