Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis will be sidelined and re-evaluated in two to three weeks due to a right calf strain.
The injury was originally thought to be a lingering Achilles strain, but an MRI that Davis took on Monday determined the calf strain.
The 27-year-old will be out the next two to three weeks, and could miss additional time after if the injury persists.
Both Kyle Kuzma and Montrezl Harrell will see a bump in minutes and usage as long as Davis is sidelined.
Davis was averaging 22.5 points (lowest since 2013-14) and 8.4 rebounds (lowest since his rookie season), and this injury may have something to do with that.
