The San Diego Padres signed Jurickson Profar to a three-year, $21 million contract.
MLB Network reported that the deal contains opt-outs after the first and second year.
Profar can play in multiple positions for the Padres in the field, and he’ll provide a more than decent bat in the lineup.
The 27-year-old slashed .278/.343/.428 last season with seven home runs and 25 RBI.
