The Tampa Bay Rays signed starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow to a one-year, $4 million contract to avoid arbitration.

Glasnow posted a high 4.08 ERA last season, but it came with 91 strikeouts over 57 1/3 innings pitched.

The 27-year-old was eligible for arbitration for the second time this offseason, and he cam to an agreement with Tampa Bay.
