The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to a one-year, $5.25 million deal with relief pitcher Corey Knebel to avoid arbitration.
LA acquired the 29-year-old last month from the Milwaukee Brewers for a player to be named later and cash considerations.
Knebel is a former All-Star that threw a high 6.08 ERA last season in 13.1 innings in 15 games played.
If he can return to a healthy form, Knebel could work his way to a setup option for the Dodgers in the upcoming season.
