Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns has been ruled out Sunday against San Antonio.

Towns is still battling a dislocated wrist injury that held him out six games already this season.

He played 37 minutes yesterday and scored 25 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but he was noticeably in pain at times in the contest.

Minnesota is being cautious with their big man, and it’s the second game of a back to back set.

Juancho Hernangomez and Ed Davis will pick up extra minutes in Towns absence.
