Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Chan Gailey has resigned from his position with the team.

It was earlier reported this week that Gailey had been fired, but that wasn’t the case.

Gailey will head back to retirement after returning to the NFL after sitting out the three previous years.

Miami will now be seeking their third coordinator in the last three seasons.
