The Los Angeles Angels acquired relief pitcher Raisel Iglesias from the Cincinnati Reds.

Cincinnati will receive pitcher Noe Ramirez and a player to be named later.

Overall this offseason, the Reds have reduced their payroll by approximately $20 million.

Iglesias is owed $9,125,000 for the 2021 season, and it’s the last year of his contract.

The 30-year-old posted a 2.74 ERA in 22 appearances last season with eight saves.
