Springer is one of the hottest names on the market this free agency period, and the Mets are battling other teams like the Blue Jays to land him.

The 31-year-old will receive a large contract for the upcoming seasons, but it will ultimately be up to him where he wants to play.

Springer batted .265/.359/.540 with 14 home runs and 32 RBI in the shortened 2020 season.
