The Jacksonville Jaguars fired general manager Dave Caldwell after their 27-25 loss to Cleveland.
Caldwell lasted 7.5 years as the team’s GM until this point, and the team did virtually nothing since he took over.
Jacksonville’s posted ugly below .500 records 7 of the last 8 seasons and finished 3rd or 4th in their division that same stretch.
Outside of selecting Jalen Ramsey, who wanted out of town eventually, the Jaguars have had terrible draft choices due to Caldwell’s decision making.
Jacksonville’s staff may see more departures next to Caldwell in the near future.
